In a busy world it can be hard to be still and wait and contemplate, yet this is exactly what many of our forefathers of the faith have taught us to do. The Psalmist calls this 'being still and knowing that God is exactly who He says He is".

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11.28-30 (MSG)

Jesus said in John 7 Let anyone come to me, who is thirsty, and let the one who believes in me drink. Paul said in Ephesians 3 [go on being] filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
